Luciano Giubbilei
Luciano Giubbilei is known for the understated elegance and serenity of his gardens, which are defined by light and influenced by the Classical Italian design heritage of proportion and balance. His practice has evolved with an emphasis on exploring and nurturing an ongoing dialogue with artists, architects, plantsmen and craftsmen. Giubbilei believes that this commitment to collaboration is the key to expanding and challenging the creative process. The practice has earned recognition through a number of accolades, including 13 major industry awards, as well as gold medals at the prestigious Chelsea Flower Show: Giubbilei’s most recent show garden in 2014 was named Best in Show.

Mr. Bing Kwan, who has over 30 years’ experience at P&T working in architecture, conceptual design and interdisciplinary planning in China, Hong Kong and South East Asia, is the project’s Design Principal. He is P&T’s most senior design architect and highly respected as a master of award winning residential, retail and office design.

Jean Mus

Jean Mus was born in the village of Cabris, near Grasse, a region of France world-famous for its perfumeries. His landscape architecture is inextricably linked to his love of the Mediterranean. For several decades, Mus has designed parks and gardens on the Mediterranean coast and all round the world.

Whether creating a private, enclosed garden or majestic grounds on a vast scale, he works with the same enthusiasm and passion. He uses his expertise to create enchanted places where he exalts beauty and sensuality and respects the environment. He is known for his equally sensitive approach to wide, open landscapes and urban environments.

In the two decades since Ed Ng and Terence Ngan founded AB Concept in Hong Kong, the duo have built their practice into an international design powerhouse. Renowned for their sensual, textured interiors, architectural use of space and meticulous detailing, Ed and Terence draw on diverse cultural influences to create exceptional, narrative-driven interiors for some of the most beautiful hotels, restaurants, clubs, and homes in the world.

Today, Ed and Terence oversee their design ateliers across multiple locations, managing a small and multifaceted but carefully chosen team of talented designers to translate their unique vision into truly extraordinary spaces.

Ed Ng — With over 25 years’ experience in luxury hospitality, residential and commercial interior design, Ed has led AB Concept to become one of the world’s leading design studios.

Ed is an active participant in numerous international design forums. And, as Vice-President of the APHDA at Tsinghua University, he is a passionate advocate for developing and supporting design talent in China.

Terence Ngan — Terence is the lead architect at AB Concept and has been instrumental in defining the studio’s sleek, nuanced style. His work is characterised by timeless simplicity, sophistication, a clear-minded, rigorous approach and an unerring instinct for designing spaces.

Hospitality Design magazine included Terence in its 2010 ‘Wave of the Future’ list of the industry’s most innovative, exciting designers.

Norman of BTR Workshop is highly sought after for his expansive, clean, minimalist style and meticulous attention to detail. His designs are present in some of the world’s most desirable real-estate projects, including Hotel Jen Singapore and The Rise Makati in the Philippines. This avant-garde creative challenges norms and unveils new design possibilities.

Kim Kunju

Kim was educated in a way that blended Western and Eastern cultures: he studied at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Nürnberg (Mersterschüler by Prof Tim Scott), Germany and attained a BFA in the Department of Sculpture at the College of Fine Arts, Hongik University, Seoul, Korea.

He has participated in artist-In-residence programmes in South Korea — at Goyang National Art Studio from 2005 to 2006, at Youngeun Museum of Contemporary Art from 2006 to 2008 and at Yangju-si Jangheung Sculpture Academy from 2008 to 2010.

Cynthia Sah
Born in Hong Kong, Cynthia Sah gained an MA from Teachers College, Columbia University, New York in the US. She now lives and works in Italy. Her marble and bronze sculptures reflect a Chinese aesthetic and express an essential equilibrium, lightness and fluidity. She has been awarded numerous prizes and commissioned to create many important public works in Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
